The Club World Cup in Qatar has been canceled


The AFC Competitions Committee informed the federations whose clubs participate in the AFC Champions League "current version" that the FIFA Club World Cup, to be held in December, in the Qatari capital, Doha, has been canceled.

The same sources also indicated that the new version of the Club World Cup scheduled for the summer of 2021 in China may be canceled due to the Tokyo Olympics and the Copa America, which was postponed from its previously set date due to the Corona virus.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in its meeting held today (Thursday), the AFC Champions League final will be held on December 19 in the West Asia region from a single match and not in the form in which the past seasons were held in a round-trip system.
