Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Zanhanian, President of the United Arab Emirates, had directed on the ninth of this month to establish a field hospital in the Republic of Chad in support of Sudanese refugees, with joint cooperation between three humanitarian institutions in the UAE represented by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the Zayed bin Sultan Al Foundation. Nahyan for Charitable and Humanitarian Works and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, and Rashid Saeed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Chad, opened the field hospital in the Chadian city of Amdgrass two weeks ago, in the presence of the Chadian Minister of Health and a number of Chadian government officials.
