Dubai Police enhances the skills of ambulance drivers to deal with various accidents

Brigadier General Expert Juma Butti bin Darwish Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, opened a training program for driving cars for ambulance officials, which is organized by Dubai Police, represented by the Insurance Department of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, in cooperation with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, in the presence of Colonel Samira Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Insurance Department, and Colonel Khaled Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Director of the Search and Rescue Department.

Brigadier General Juma Al Falasi said that the training program for ambulance drivers comes within the framework of the “Safe Driving Stars” initiative, which was launched by the Dubai Police General Command with the aim of urging drivers to commit and make more efforts to improve their performance level, to enhance traffic safety on the roads, where the program was implemented. On patrol officials in Dubai Police in the past years, and now the experience has been transferred to ambulance drivers in the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, under the directives of His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, with the aim of enhancing the skills of ambulance drivers to deal with various circumstances.

For her part, Colonel Samira Al Ali stressed Dubai Police’s keenness to adopt this type of continuous training programs and courses, ensuring reaching the highest levels of readiness in various circumstances and challenges, and achieving the highest response index.
